Hi, I'm Meagan, wife, and a stay-at-home mom of three. My days are typically spent cooking, cleaning and shuttling children back and forth to school, dance lessons, appointments, etc... Some say I am a housewife, but I prefer the term "Domestic Engineer." ;) Although I have been a blogger for over 5 years, I have kept my family blog private to respect my children's privacy. Blogging is a great outlet for me and allows me to combine the many things I am passionate about: my husband, my children, photography, creating, organizing, decorating, bargain hunting and cooking.
This blog will not feature my children, but I am sure from time to time you will see pictures of the messes they have made and the chaos they cause. Life with kids is never boring... but, I wouldn't have it any other way!
However, The Domestic Engineer WILL feature healthy cooking ideas, and um, not so healthy ones. Fun crafts, decorating ideas, cleaning tips (believe me, with 3 kids I have learned how to get marker out of carpet, oil out of clothes, and a vomit smell out of the car!). Oh, and I am not big on spending full price on some things, so I try and make my own (which can sometimes be comical, and I will always share the laughs with you).
